Dear Friends:

Thank you all for turning up to vote in tens of thousands despite bad weather in an off-year election! Thank you for your support, - your time, and ceaseless effort!!

We ran an incredible issues driven campaign which was without controversy,  as it was clamor-free and clean. I am pleased that our efforts lead to an impressive showing at hustings for your 'newcomer Democrat' as Daily Record chraracterized my candidacy. We managed 13300 votes, more than there are Dems, in a constituency that is often described as 'Republican' .  Your enthusiasm tells me, that eventually, Democrats too will have their day in the Distritct 26 in not too distant future.

I have extended my co-operation to senator-elect Joe Pennaccio in all of the issues that I believe are important for New Jersey and you. That includes greater access to healthcare for all of our people but particularly our kids. This means, not only continuing with SCHIP, despite Bush veto but making child-health care universal. Finding ways to fund stem-cell and cancer research and lower the taxes, particularly property taxes. I would like to see greater emphasis on public health issues like childhood obesity and teen-drinking.

We should study least objectionable options for school-prayer since it would not cost anything. We have to find smarter ways to use renewable energy and keep the Garden State green thru Green-acres and other programs to prevent a full-blown climate crisis, - not in some distant future, but likely to occur in our life-times. New Jersey's record under prior Republican adminstrations has brought us the current fiscal paralysis in the state, - just as the war is forcing Bush to veto programs like SCHIP!

Crusade for your issues shall continue until the quality of life that you deserve has been attained and gauranteed for the future generations in our great state.

Again, my gratitude for your vote and support for my candidacy in the Primary and the General Elections. As a concerned citizen, I shall continue to serve our great Garden State.
